Metropolitan district
You are in a Metropolitan district called the Westerly Metropolitan District. Metropolitan districts are political subdivisions of the State and impose property taxes to generate the revenue needed for funding the construction of infrastructure. In Colorado, property taxes are paid on the “assessed value” of a property.
