Showcasing student success and educator excellence in the area, U.S. News and World Report recognized the district as having top high schools nationally.

The St. Vrain Valley School District’s commitment to excellence is characterized by 331 industry certifications received by students in the 2021-2022 school year, and some of the most rigorous graduation requirements in the state. In addition, student achievement levels at these schools have met or outpaced the state average with growth in 90% of state standardized tests.

Our proximity to the wonderfully quaint and inviting town of Erie, CO, makes the allure of the Westerly lifestyle even stronger. Metropolitan District

You are in a Metropolitan district called the Westerly Metropolitan District.

Metropolitan districts are political subdivisions of the State and impose property taxes to generate the revenue needed for funding the construction of infrastructure. In Colorado, property taxes are paid on the “assessed value” of a property. Residential property currently is assessed at 7.15 % of the actual value of a home (actual value is established by the County assessor).
